Small Yew Grass Pot (2)
A lovely piece of Yew branch wood which has been turned to reveal the sapwood, the heartwood and even a small piece of bark. This pot also shows how usually Yew grows as multiple stems which subsequently merge into a single trunk.
The wood originated from a property adjacent to the Thorp Perrow Arboretum in North Yorkshire.
It has been hand turned, hand finished and polished to give a deep rich glossy finish.
This pot is approx. 4“ high and 2“ in diam.
