Elm bowl with natural edge
This piece of elm has been turned not only to reveal the contrast between the heart and sapwood but to show the natural bark and curve of the tree. This piece is also enhanced by the remains of a branch showing to one side.
Hand finished using a natural wax polish this bowl looked really elegant on my sideboard for several months before being sold.
