Turned from a wedge of sycamore to give a deep bowl with a narrow base. The turning has revealed that the timber has a wonderful ripple grain which is highly sought after as normally the timber is quite plain with a straight grain.

This piece was hand finished to a high gloss using a natural wax polish.
