Apple pot
This item can currently be seen/purchased in The Bingley Gallery as part of a ‘Tree themed’ exhibition running between 23rd July & 27th September. Please see the gallery website for opening hours & to arrange your visit.
Turned from the branch of a local Apple tree this hollowed out pot is approx 3.5” in Diameter and 4.5” high. Whilst the grain around the top of the pot isn’t too special there are the remains of branches visible at the base and the pot is lovely as the wood as it has a very fine grain leading to a fine smooth finish and feel.
