Acacia Burr
This piece of Burr Acacia is one of several I was lucky enough to collect from a diseased tree that was being felled close to the Minster in Halifax. The appeal of the piece is not only the colour, the beautiful Burr grain but also it’s almost triangular shape.
The bowl has been hand turned and then hand finished, using my favourite natural wax polish, to give the lovely sheen you can see in the photographs.
The maximum size across the bowl is the bowl is 15”. The smallest size is approx. 10” with the bowl standing approx. 2.5” high.
It is suitable for dry goods only.
